Brand New Software Set To Revolutionise The Way Challenging Behaviour Is Tackled In Primary Education
A new sophisticated software system which has been piloted on primary schools is now being made available nationwide. It has taken three years for this unique and powerful software to be developed and tested.
After working with both families and schools who are struggling with challenging behaviour for over seven years BLOT’s Managing Director, Richard Kizis could see there was a desperate gap within the education system.
The BLOT system is all about tackling pupil’s behaviour early in their education, during the primary school years. By simply inputting data in a fast and efficient way the BLOT system can show teachers triggers and patterns within the pupil’s behaviour.
The software is also an excellent resource for head teachers, the BLOT system can produce reports for OFSTED to show clearly the improvements being made within the school when tackling challenging behaviour.
The Behaviour Link On-line Tracking system will be available to Primary Schools within the UK from January 2011; there will be an annual charge of £175 per year (under 140 pupils) or £350 per year (over 140 pupils). BLOT is already receiving outstanding feedback from the schools which have been using it.
“As SENCO it has provided me with vital evidence in the referral process. The system is easy to use and enables staff to generate data at the click of a button. Having this data at our fingertips has proved to be invaluable. It has given credence to what we as teachers are saying.”
Mrs M Cross (SENCO), Amington Heath Primary school
“B.L.O.T. helped to identify each pupil’s personal triggers, prioritising them and giving you a starting point at which you could begin to help your pupils learn and achieve success.”
Sal Nagra (class teacher), Stoneydelph Primary
We are confident BLOT is set to revolutionize the way negative behaviour will be tackled within primary schools. BLOT can highlight reasons for a pupils negative behaviour, helping teachers to put positive strategies into place. Finding patterns and triggers in a pupil’s negative behavior early and working to
reduce these triggers can have an exceptional impact on a pupil’s future.
The BLOT system is an essential resource for working with special educational needs, learning difficulties, challenging behaviour, ADHD and autism. Visit the website www.blotschool.co.uk for further information on how BLOT could work in your school.
