Education Conference An Evidence Based Approach to Managing Academy and School Performance

With governors asking probing and challenging questions, there is an expectation for education leaders to answer these questions fully, accurately, and honestly.  This makes the shift to an evidence-based approach to the management of school or academy performance both necessary and sensible.


About the conference:
The conference will address how to provide an evidence-based approach to the management of school and academy performance.  It brings together a range of expert speakers to examine key issues, including:

  • Ofsted – an inspector’s point of view
  • Governance – achieving and improving outstanding outcomes
  • Performance management – gathering evidence and taking action
  • Managing financial performance
  • Employment law – the legal implications

There will also be the opportunity to participate in a choice of breakout sessions, covering:

  • Managing performance in Early Years and Key Stage 1
  • Tightening up on Welfare and Safeguarding
  • Living with the New Inspection Framework
  • Managing Conflicts of Interest
