This week at Evenlode Primary School in Penarth, pupils in Years 1 and 3 were treated to an exclusive Mr Pritt and Mister Maker school visit, which saw the stars host a fun Autumn themed crafting session making pupils into ‘Mini-Makers’ for the day. Pupils at Evenlode Primary School were the first lucky winners of an exciting new competition run by the top selling glue brand, Pritt.

Mister Pritt and Mister Maker hosted the activity session with four classes who all created Autumn leaf pictures using real leaves, crafting materials and Pritt Sticks.

Evenlode Primary Year 3 teacher Vanessa Parselle commented: “The children had a fantastic, fun-filled day and all enjoyed the hands-on craft activity and especially meeting Mister Maker and Mr Pritt.”

Evenlode Primary School Mister Maker, the CBeebies star who led the session, explained the importance of learning crafts from an early age: “The sense of achievement which mini-makers feel from creating their own artwork is really important.  I had a fantastic time making Autumn pictures in the school and was so happy to be part of an exciting arty day!”

The pupils were also filmed by Pritt for an exclusive video which will be featured on the brand’s website in the coming weeks. Each child was also given a Pritt goody bag to take away meaning that they can continue their crafty skills at home.
