Mayor Opens Randstad Education Branch In Luton

Leading UK and global educational staffing specialist, Randstad Education, has opened its first branch in Luton. The Mayor of Luton, Cllr Don Worlding, officially launched the branch alongside Cllr Tafheen Sharif.

The Mayor commented: “I am delighted to welcome Randstad Education to Luton. Their commitment to providing high calibre teaching and support staff can only help enhance the quality of education in the town. In addition to the celebrations, the event has proven to be the perfect platform to meet with Luton’s educational representatives and to listen to the issues they face.”

Randstad Education is the UK’s largest recruitment specialist in the education sector, providing quality, temporary and permanent teachers and support staff to over 15,000 schools. Randstad Education’s presence locally is set to specifically benefit the wealth of schools located throughout Luton and Dunstable, schools demanding the best quality teachers in the region.

Lisa Headford, regional manager at Randstad Education, adds: “It’s absolutely crucial for schools to have immediate access to local, high-quality temporary and permanent teaching staff from a trusted and expert source. Our knowledgeable consultants have the benefit of valuable regional insight.”

Randstad Education’s experienced recruitment consultants support client schools, understanding their needs and helping tackle industry challenges. Randstad Education has worked in partnership with schools and local authorities across the country to help them prepare for the new Agency Workers Regulations that come into force on 1st October. Working closely with both DfE and BIS, Randstad Education has championed the views of the education sector to help shape a fair recruitment landscape for all.

Randstad Education’s growth is not limited to Luton. In response to demand, Randstad Education’s network of 30 branches is expanding to include Bradford.
