PET-Xi Training attends Skills Show 2016

PET-Xi Training, just voted Small Business of the Year at the Coventry Telegraph Business Awards, will be sharing its expertise and providing careers advice to young people visiting this year’s Skills Show, the UK’s largest skills and career event, which takes place at the NEC Birmingham from 17 to 19 November 2016.

The Skills Show provides hands-on experiences that inspire young people to explore skills, jobs, training and apprenticeships to help them make that next important step in their career.

The PET-Xi team will focus on their unique traineeship and apprenticeship programmes which have already created a strong following amongst young people considering this increasingly popular choice of work based training.

As well as gathering expert advice and information from the PET-Xi team, visitors to the stand will have a chance to meet current apprentices and hear more about what’s involved – including the company’s 21-year-old apprenticeship coordinator Liam Patel, himself a former apprentice. They will also have the chance to take away a digital caricature of themselves on a postcard for their lanyards.

“PET-Xi offers an ambitious new approach to apprenticeships and traineeships,” explained PET-Xi’s joint managing director Fleur Sexton. “Our aim is to drive forward excellence in the UK by providing personalised support for young people in their progression into employment in their chosen career. We achieve this through the development of creative, unique apprenticeship programmes delivering vital work experience, skills and knowledge.”
