It’s now official… In May 2011 the World Health Organisation (WHO) International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), after critical review, officially classified radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (EMF) emitted by mobile phones and wireless devices as possibly carcinogenic to humans – in other words they could cause cancer. One study has shown a 40% increased risk of glioma, a malignant type of cancer.

The precautionary principle… Government advice is to apply the precautionary principle – there should be no desire to ban this technology just to adapt and harness it so it never becomes a major source of illness.
