More Information On API Seminar Programme:

All the seminars can be attended on a first come, first served basis. They will all take place in a marquee on the show ground which will be clearly signposted.

The API has created a seminar programme ‘that reaches beyond the ordinary confines of a trade show’. It has done this by offering a variety of topics; from the links between active play and sport, behavioural attitudes in child development and how to kick-start new play projects, and feels confident this mix will attract a greater audience and provide useful insights on the modern world of play for the play industry, education sector, local authorities, community groups, as well as the public and private sectors.

One of the UK's greatest athletes, Sally Gunnell OBE, is the keynote speaker this year, and her speech will cover the benefits of play and her journey into sport and the vital links between play and healthy lifestyles.
